Cleric AA Priorities
Cleric AA spend at The Last Camp PoP cap — raid healer, group utility, or hybrid priest.
Cleric AA priorities at The Last Camp PoP cap (level 65). AAs are the primary specialization path beyond the level cap — there is no expansion content past PoP, so AA xp is the long-term progression.
For Clerics, AAs decide whether you anchor the CH chain on raid bosses, become the group's mana-and-mitigation ladder, or build a hybrid that does a little of both well. The Cleric tree is one of the highest-impact in the game — Divine Arbitration alone has saved more raids than any single piece of gear.
At a glance
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Total AA pool (PoP era) | ~250-300 across all categories |
| Priority categories | Class healing > General mana > Archetype priest |
| Hard prerequisites | Spell Casting Mastery 1 before Reinforcement |
| Soft prerequisites | Mnemonic Retention 1 unlocks proper rotation early |
Build priorities (in order)
Tier 1 — Foundation (first 30-50 AAs)
- Mnemonic Retention 1 — extra spell gem; non-negotiable
- Spell Casting Mastery 1 — lower mana cost on all spells
- Innate Wisdom — raise WIS soft cap, more mana
- Healing Gift — passive heal amount bonus, every cast
- Run 3 — universal QoL
Tier 2 — Core spec (50-150 AAs)
- Healing Adept — additional healing amount stacking with Gift
- Spell Casting Reinforcement — spell crit chance, including heal crits
- Mass Group Buff — buff full group in one cast
- Mnemonic Retention 2-3 — full rotation memmed
- Innate Defense — passive AC bonus, helps survive raid splash
Tier 3 — Endgame polish (150+ AAs)
- Divine Resurrection — full-rez with no XP loss; raid-changing
- Spell Casting Subtlety — lower aggro per cast
- Mass Group Buff 2-3 — stack rank for higher-tier buffs
- Spell Casting Fury — crit damage on heals/nukes
General AAs to prioritize
- Run 3 (always)
- Mnemonic Retention 3 (full rotation)
- Spell Casting Mastery 3 (mana cost is the limiting factor)
- Spell Casting Subtlety (raid aggro management)
- Innate Wisdom (raise soft cap)
Archetype AAs (shared with related classes)
- Healing Gift — shared with Druid, Shaman, Paladin
- Healing Adept — shared priest line
- Mass Group Buff — Cle, Dru, Shm, Enc
- Spell Casting Mastery / Reinforcement / Fury / Subtlety — every caster
Class-defining AAs
- Divine Arbitration — Cleric-only emergency split-heal that distributes one Cleric's HP across the group; the highest-value priest AA in the game
- Divine Resurrection — full-rez no XP loss
- Turn Summoned — situational vs summoned undead
- Innate Defense — Cleric/Paladin AC line
- Celestial Regeneration — Cleric group-regen line at higher tiers
Common pitfalls
- Skipping Divine Arbitration to "feel stronger" at parses — DA wins more raid attempts than any DPS gain. Take it the moment you can.
- Stacking Healing Gift without Adept — they multiply; one without the other underperforms.
- Ignoring Mass Group Buff — buffing six people one at a time is a colossal time sink at the cap.
- Putting AA into nukes — Cleric DPS is a meme; keep nuke AA last priority.
- Forgetting Spell Casting Subtlety — pulling aggro with a heal-crit is the most preventable wipe in the game.
The Last Camp any-race-class note
Cleric AA priority does not change with race. That said, Iksar and Troll Clerics gain Innate Regen which slightly delays sit-down resets — useful in long pulls. High-elf and Erudite Clerics enjoy higher base WIS, hitting the Innate Wisdom cap a few AAs earlier. Net AA spend remains identical.
