THE LAST CAMP

Emperor Ssraeshza is the Shissar emperor — raid boss of Ssraeshza Temple and the imperial counterpart to the priest-queen Aten Ha Ra. He holds the throne of the Shissar empire-in-exile from the temple-palace built into the surface architecture of Luclin. The temple is distinct from the deeper Vex Thal palace where Aten holds her own court — the two are political-structurally separate seats of the Shissar diaspora. His kill is one of the standard Luclin progression-flag encounters and the gate to several follow-on raid arcs.

Lore

Ssraeshza is the imperial line's last surviving emperor — the head of the Shissar diaspora's secular leadership in the centuries since the exile from Kunark. He holds the temple-palace as the empire's seat, with his court of Shissar lords and lieutenants distributed across the multi-floor temple complex. The Shissar nation under his rule is structurally divided from Aten Ha Ra's priestly court — the two leaderships coexist but operate independently. The temple holds the imperial-political function while Vex Thal holds the religious-priestly function, and the lore implies an ongoing low-grade political contest between the two seats.

In canonical Luclin lore the Shissar empire's exile to the moon was driven by their defeat at the hands of the iksar empire (which Veeshan's children helped to organize), and Ssraeshza's reign is colored by the long memory of that defeat. The temple's deeper sections include lore items recording the historical claims and grievances, and the temple's architecture is explicitly a recapitulation of the lost Shissar capital on Kunark. The temple is a monument as much as a palace: every chamber is designed to remind the Shissar court of what was lost and what they intend to reclaim.

Court and lieutenants

The temple is held by the Shissar imperial court at every level: the lower wings by the imperial guard, the middle floors by the Shissar lords and lieutenants, and the throne room by the emperor's personal court. Multiple named lieutenant pulls are individually serious raid encounters, and the descent through the temple is a multi-week project for most guilds. Without progress through Ssraeshza Temple a guild's path through the Luclin endgame is closed, since several follow-on flag chains route through the temple's named drops.

Encounter

Emperor Ssraeshza is a level 65 single-spawn at the deepest chamber of Ssraeshza Temple, fightable by a 24-36 player raid in Luclin-tier gear. His signature mechanics include a hard-hitting Shissar melee combined with an AE that hits the raid for both physical and disease damage on a recurring tick, a charm-style mez that targets the cleric line preferentially, and a court of lieutenant pulls that must be cleared before the emperor pull is even possible. The fight is a tank-and-spank against the Shissar model, with the wrinkle that the cleric-charm tactic forces the raid to maintain charm-immunity buffs on the healing line throughout.

The temple itself is a long descent through multiple court tiers — the path from entry to throne room takes a clean clear of an hour or more for a careful raid. The Last Camp tuning may differ — verify before pulling.

Approach

The standard Emperor Ssraeshza approach is a 24-36 player raid in Luclin-tier gear, assembling at the temple zone-in and committing to a multi-hour clear of the supporting court. Charm-immunity buffs should be running on the cleric line by the time the throne-room pull opens, and disease resists should be stacked across all groups to handle the AE rotation. A standard kill clocks in at thirty to forty-five minutes once the chamber pull opens, with the descent and clear taking the bulk of the night.
