Plane of Knowledge Portal Stones
Activating and using the PoK portal stones — the planar travel hub for The Last Camp's PoP era.
The Plane of Knowledge portal stones are the obelisks ringing the central pad of Plane of Knowledge. Each stone teleports the player directly to its destination zone after a one-time activation hail. Combined with the PoK book network, the stones replace the long-distance druid/wizard ports of classic-era travel.
The Last Camp preserves the canonical PoK stone layout exactly. PoP-tier destinations require the corresponding access flag; non-PoP destinations are gated by city books, not stones.

Walkthrough
Step 1 — Reach Plane of Knowledge
If you have not been to PoK yet, take a city book to PoK from any major city's library or guild hall. Books move you to PoK without requiring activation; stones move you out.
Step 2 — Walk the central ring
The PoK pad sits south of the central library. The portal stones form a wide ring around the pad. Each obelisk is labeled with its destination plane.
Step 3 — Hail each stone you can use
- Stones with no flag requirement: hail and the stone confirms activation. Future click-throughs are immediate.
- Stones with a PoP flag: hailing without the flag returns a refusal message. Earn the flag (see PoP Flagging), then hail again.
Step 4 — Use the stone
Once activated, click the stone to zone. PoK stones bypass the standard 30-second zone-readjust most book ports impose; the trip is near-instant.
The major PoK stones (canonical)
| Stone | Destination | Flag required |
|---|---|---|
| Plane of Tranquility | Plane of Tranquility | None |
| Plane of Justice | Plane of Justice | None (PoJ is itself a flag-source) |
| Plane of Innovation | Plane of Innovation | PoJ flag |
| Plane of Disease | Plane of Disease | PoJ flag |
| Plane of Nightmares | Plane of Nightmares | PoJ flag |
| Plane of Storms | Plane of Storms | Tier-2 progression |
| Plane of Valor | Plane of Valor | Tier-2 progression |
| Bastion of Thunder | Bastion of Thunder | BoT flag |
| Halls of Honor | Halls of Honor | HoH flag |
| Plane of Fire | Plane of Fire | Ring of Fire |
| Plane of Water | Plane of Water | Ring of Water |
| Plane of Air | Plane of Air | Ring of Air |
| Plane of Earth | Plane of Earth | Tier-4 progression |
Non-PoP zones are reached via the PoK library books (Greater Faydark, Qeynos, Freeport, Cabilis, Erudin, Neriak, etc.) — not by stones. The stones are PoP-exclusive infrastructure.
Final turn-in
There is no final NPC. Activation completes when you hail the stone. Treat the visited list as your personal travel network.
Custom race-class adjustments
PoK is a neutral hub — no race or class is KOS to PoK NPCs or stones. The Last Camp's any-race-class doctrine is fully supported here; a Troll Paladin and a Dark Elf Druid use the same PoK stones.
Tips
- Activate early. Any stone you might use later costs nothing to hail now.
- Flag stones first. PoJ is the gateway flag for tier-1 PoP planes — chain the activation with the PoJ flag run.
- Bind in PoK. Casters can bind any race/class member at the soulbinder; gating through PoK saves long overland runs.
- Learn the ring layout. Stones are unlabeled at distance; muscle-memory for which obelisk goes where is faster than reading.
- Books, not stones, for non-PoP cities. Don't waste hail attempts on a stone that isn't there.
- Check stone faction with mercs/pets. Pets desummon on zone — recast on the destination side.
