PoP Elemental Flag Requirements
The full Plane of Fire / Water / Earth / Air access chain leading to Plane of Time.
PoP Elemental Flags are the four access flags — Fire, Water, Earth, Air — that gate the elemental-tier zones and ultimately the Plane of Time encounter. Each elemental plane requires its own Ring access quest plus tier-3 progression as a hard prerequisite. On The Last Camp the chain is canonical and unchanged.
This page maps the elemental tier as a sequenced chain: which tier flags must come first, which Ring quests open which planes, and how those four flags converge on Plane of Time.

Per-flag access to the four elemental planes plus the cumulative gate flag for Plane of Time. Plane of Time is the era's endgame raid; reaching it is the defining accomplishment of a PoP-cap server.
Walkthrough
Tier sequence
Elemental flags do not stand alone — they sit at the top of a flagging staircase. Reference PoP Flagging for the broader sequence; this page focuses on the elemental tier specifically.
| Tier | Requirement | Gate boss |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 0 | None | — |
| Tier 1 | PoJ, PoD, PoI, PoN flags | Tribunal / Grummus / Meldrath / Terris-Thule |
| Tier 2 | PoV, PoS, BoT flags | Aerin'Dar / BoT progression / Agnarr |
| Tier 3 | HoH, PoTorment, PoTactics flags | Tallon-Vallon Zek / Saryrn / Rallos Zek |
| Tier 4 | Elemental Ring quests + per-plane gate | Fennin Ro / Coirnav / Rathe Council / Xegony |
| Tier 5 | All four elementals = PoTime flag | Quarm |
Step 1 — Clear tier 3
Halls of Honor, Plane of Torment, and Plane of Tactics complete. Specifically the Rallos Zek kill in PoTactics is the canonical "tier 3 done" signal. Without tier-3 flags, the elemental Ring quests will not start.
Step 2 — Run the four elemental Ring quests
- Ring of Fire — opens Plane of Fire, Fennin Ro's realm.
- Ring of Water — opens Plane of Water, Coirnav's realm.
- Ring of Air — opens Plane of Air, Xegony's realm.
- Ring of Earth — opens Plane of Earth (A-side and B-side variants); the Rathe Council kill is the gate.
Each ring is run separately. The reagents are no-drop and chain-specific. Most reagents are raid drops from PoP zones already cleared by your guild for tier 1-3 flags — efficient guilds collect ring reagents in parallel with tier-3 raids.
Step 3 — Earn each elemental plane flag
Each elemental plane has its own internal raid path. The flag drops when the plane's gate boss falls:
- Plane of Fire flag: kill Fennin Ro (or the canonical PoFire gate boss in your raid sequence).
- Plane of Water flag: kill Coirnav.
- Plane of Air flag: kill Xegony.
- Plane of Earth flag (A and B): kill the Rathe Council. Both flag variants are awarded by being present for the kill; the A/B distinction is a zone instance flag.
Each flag is character-bound. Every raid member needs to be present for the kill — second-chair raid attendees do not get backfilled flags.
Step 4 — Plane of Time flag
With all four elemental flags on the same character, the Plane of Time access flag unlocks automatically. Speak to the PoTime portal NPC in Plane of Time entry hub, or zone in directly via the PoK Plane of Time stone (if active in your build).
Final turn-in
Plane of Time is the encounter. Quarm sits at the apex; the elemental-tier wave fights inside (Saryrn, Terris-Thule, Cazic-Thule, Rallos Zek, Innoruuk, etc.) test every prior flag's preparation in compressed sequence.
Custom race-class adjustments
PoP elemental progression is class-neutral — the canonical flag system was built around raid composition rather than racial gating. The Last Camp's any-race-class doctrine produces interesting raid rosters (Ogre Wizards, Halfling Shadow Knights) but does not change flagging math.
Class-specific roles inside the elemental planes are canonical: tank classes hold the gate bosses, healer classes carry through fire/cold/disease ambient damage, casters DPS-burn the immunity-gated targets. See the per-plane bestiary for resist tables.
Tips
- Ring quests in parallel. Don't queue them serially — your raid is killing the reagent sources anyway during tier-3 progression.
- Flag check before every raid night. Missing one elemental flag delays your Plane of Time entry by weeks.
- Tier-3 must be complete first. Skipping is not possible; ring quests refuse without it.
- Reagent loss = chain restart. Bank the no-drops; do not auction or destroy.
- Coordinate the Rathe Council kill. Both A-side and B-side flags drop on the same encounter.
- Cross-reference PoP Flagging for tier 1-3 walkthrough.
