Holgresh Elder Beads
Classic neck-slot clicky from Burning Wood — casts Eye of Zomm with no class restriction.
Drops from
Holgresh Elder Beads is a classic-Kunark clicky neck item that casts Eye of Zomm on use, giving any class on the server access to a player-controlled scout familiar that flies ahead and reveals terrain and mob placement. The beads are one of the most useful utility clickies in Kunark-era content, second only to

Drops from elder holgresh primates in The Burning Wood, at low single-digit chance per kill — making the beads a meaningful camp goal rather than an incidental pickup.
Stats
The beads carry a thin stat line — Magic Resist 2, Cold Resist 1, Fire Resist 1, weight 0.2 — and no other contribution. The stat block is functionally irrelevant; the beads are a clicky utility item, not a real neck-slot stat upgrade. Players keep the beads in inventory or in a clicky bandolier rather than as a permanent neck slot once they have any real neck stat upgrade.
Effect
The click effect is Eye of Zomm, which spawns a player-controlled flying eye familiar with the wearer's vision. The eye flies ahead of the character, ignores most aggro radii (it can be seen by some creature types but not most), and lets a player scout dangerous terrain or count mobs in a camp before pulling. The familiar persists until killed or until the player moves too far away.
For wizards the click is functionally redundant — wizards learn Eye of Zomm as a spell. For every other class the beads are the only canonical access point to the spell pre-PoP. That access is what defines the item's value.
How to obtain
Drops from elder holgresh spawns in The Burning Wood at roughly 2 percent per kill. The holgresh are spread across the southern half of the zone in roving spawns and small camps. Multi-hour farming sessions are typical — the drop rate is low enough that lucky pulls happen but consistent farming requires patience.
Secondary drops appear from related holgresh spawns in adjacent Kunark zones at similar single-digit rates. The canonical farm camp is Burning Wood, since the elder holgresh density is highest there.
Why it matters
Eye of Zomm is one of the most genuinely useful utility spells in classic / Kunark content — pulling for a group, scouting a contested camp, mapping unexplored terrain, or checking whether a named has spawned all benefit from a remote camera. For a non-wizard class, Holgresh Elder Beads is the only way to access that capability without grouping with a wizard. That makes the beads a consistent want for every other class — clerics scouting heal range, monks pulling, rogues checking sneak / hide angles, casters mapping safe pull paths.
The beads also have a quiet collector value as a recognizable Kunark-era camp drop — they show up in inventory bars across the playerbase as a quality-of-life signal.
The Last Camp any-race-class note
The All-class flag means the click works on every race / class combo on The Last Camp. Players grafting non-wizard classes through the open class system gain Eye of Zomm access without learning the spell. The eye is an exact match for the wizard-cast version — same vision, same range, same persistence.
The drop is contested on populated servers but The Last Camp's smaller playerbase generally means a Burning Wood farming session is uncontested. Solo farming is viable for any class with good kiting or root-rot tools.

Players who already have a real Eye of Zomm access typically chase the spirit / vizier variants for the stat upgrade. Players without spell access generally keep the elder beads in a clicky bandolier for the duration of their pre-PoP career.
Wizards and necromancers with the Eye of Zomm spell will skip the beads entirely — for those classes the click is redundant and the stat line doesn't justify a neck slot.
