Sealed Note
A magic, lore-tagged quest component used in several era quest chains.
Sealed Note is a small, magic, lore-tagged quest component — a piece of paper that surfaces in several quest chains across the era. The item is intentionally generic in name and description; the same model and item ID are reused across multiple quest lines, with the player's understanding of which note belongs to which quest coming from when and where they received it, not from the item itself.
For new players, the item is most often encountered as a hand-back from an NPC who needs the note delivered to a recipient. The delivery target, the dialogue used, and the resulting reward depend entirely on which quest is in progress.
Stats
Sealed Note has no equipment stats. It does not occupy a slot. It is a small, almost weightless paper item that sits in inventory until the relevant quest interaction is performed.
Effect
No combat, click, focus, or worn effect. The item exists to be presented in dialogue to a recipient NPC, after which the relevant quest chain advances.
How to obtain
Sealed Note is handed out by a quest NPC after the player completes the quest's prerequisite step. The exact NPC and exact zone depend on which quest the player is running — the same item ID is reused across several chains. Common patterns include factional courier quests, story chains where one character writes to another, and multi-step delivery missions.
Because the item is Lore, a player can only carry one at a time — meaning a player running multiple parallel courier quests must complete one before picking up the next.
Why it matters
Sealed Note is the wiki entry that exists to answer the question "I have this note in my inventory and I don't know what it's for." The note's value is procedural — what it advances, who it goes to, what the reward is — and lives entirely in the active quest, not the item itself.
For players cataloging inventory or unsure whether they can drop a note, this entry confirms the item's purpose, its lore status (cannot be safely dropped if mid-quest), and its weightless, no-effect nature.
The Last Camp any-race-class note
Sealed Note is class-agnostic — All classes can pick it up, hold it, and turn it in. The Last Camp's open race / class system does not change anything about how a player interacts with this item, since the related quest gating is dialogue-driven rather than class-locked.
For players unsure whether a Sealed Note in inventory is the one their quest needs, the safest path is to hold it until the quest's recipient NPC accepts the turn-in. Multiple parallel courier quests cannot be carried simultaneously due to the Lore tag.
Lore note
Sealed Notes belong to the broader category of courier-quest pieces in the era — small handwritten letters used to drive narrative between NPCs across zones. The reused item ID across multiple chains is a deliberate design choice: it allows quest writers to script delivery missions without inflating the items table with one-off paper variants.
