Veeshan's Peak is the keyed Kunark dragon raid zone — the endgame raid target of the Ruins of Kunark era and the practical capstone of the continent's flagging chain. Access requires the Ring of Veeshan, a multi-zone faction and quest project that runs through Burning Woods, Skyfire Mountains, and several adjacent camps before the key drops. Inside, the seven major Kunark dragons hold their roosts — Phara Dar, Druushk, Hoshkar, Silverwing, Nexona, Xygoz, Travenro — each with named attendants and dedicated loot tables. The zone is structured as a long sustained raid rather than a series of pulls; the dragon roosts are set pieces with their own approach mechanics, and a clean run through the zone covers the whole roster. Lockout discipline matters more here than in any other Kunark dungeon, because the keying chain in front of the door makes a wipe expensive in real time.

Content

  • Phara Dar — the matriarch of the peak, longest-timer named in the zone.
  • Druushk — second-tier dragon roost, hard hitter with a dedicated approach.
  • Hoshkar — caster-pressure dragon, primary target for healer focus.
  • Silverwing — speed-tuned dragon, melee discipline matters.
  • Nexona — poison-themed dragon, resist gear pays off in the fight.
  • Xygoz — illusion-themed dragon, target call discipline matters.
  • Travenro — the lower-tier dragon, often the warm-up pull.
  • Dragon attendants — caster and melee elites in each roost, primary clears before the named.

Why bother

Veeshan's Peak is the era's endgame. The loot tables here cover several class-defining slot upgrades for the Kunark band, and the raid roster is the standard test for a guild that's clearing Karnor's Castle, Howling Stones, and the broader Kunark dungeon set without a problem. The Ring of Veeshan project itself is a multi-week endeavor that gives a guild a coherent goal across many zones; the door key is the receipt for the whole campaign.

On The Last Camp, where any race can play any class, the VP roster treats every party the same. A Halfling Warrior or an Iksar Cleric in the raid gets the same loot table and the same dragon response as the canonical class for the slot. The keying chain is the same length for every character, which keeps the access bar consistent across the server. The era cap holds at PoP, so VP remains a top-tier Kunark target rather than a stepping stone to anything past it on the continent.

Using it well

Stage from the southern wall of Skyfire Mountains. The corpse run from a wipe inside VP back to the staging point is the worst possible recovery time, so bind discipline matters before the zone-in. Bring the keys, the resist gear, and the buffs in pre-cleared rotations; topping off mid-roost is a sign the prep wasn't done outside.

Run the dragon roster in a clean order. Travenro and the lower-tier roosts warm the raid up; Phara Dar should not be the first pull if the raid hasn't tested the engine on the easier dragons first. Each dragon has its own approach mechanic, and a wipe on one roost doesn't reset the others — but a poorly-staged pull can chain attendants from adjacent roosts, which does end runs. Lockout policy and loot rules should be settled before the door opens, not negotiated mid-zone.
